It's always good to have one of these up.

If you have any issues about how I play Fakir, you are encouraged to raise them with me here. Of course, I very much welcome use of examples with your problem, so I can have a better idea of what to fix. If you have questions about why Fakir did something or why he did so in the way he did, those are also encouraged.

I want to be the best player I can for all of you!

Anonymous commenting is on. IP logging is off, and I wouldn't know what to do with it anyway.

If you feel the need to contact me privately, the best way is probably by e-mailing agreylady@gmail.com. You can also talk to me at my rl journal, [info]elspeth_vimes, or look for the elusive Elspeth Vimes on AIM.

RL with Ahiru- ZOMG DATE

* Waiting for Ahiru by the gates, so they can go to the restaurant. He's definitely blushing. He's also definitely nervous, but he'll die before admitting that. And give the glare of death to anyone who points it out. *

Hmm

...The pizza was nice. Perhaps we should go there more often.

(( Yay mental reality! Fakir and Ahiru went on a not actually but sort of kinda like a date at the pizza place. ))

Fakir waited at his usual table in the library, resisting the urge to get up and pace. He had written it, but mostly as another form of practice, he hadn't expected this first try to work.

Ahiru was a girl again.

They would have a lot to talk about...

Why? Because I'm in this account.

And because I'm finding this meme very helpful. Here be headcanon.

They still love me.

After I killed them, they still love me.
Charon always said they would, but...at least part of me was convinced that I had to pay.
That I could never have a real family again.

They held me again.

...I want...to introduce them to Ahiru, at least, before they're gone again.

If you find yourselves in need of any assistance, I am more than willing to provide it.

I cannot stand by while such a being causes such torment as this Canaletto.

With what we are, we have the power to overcome the story and make it what we want.
And we will.

Mytho, you'll have the final shard soon. I'm sure you'll defeat the Raven and save everyone. ...Even Rue.

[locked to Ahiru]

When the story ends, I'll stay with you, Ahiru.

The library in Gold Crown Town was a very large building, housing a truly remarkable array of materials. However, it was not used by most, and unless you were looking for someone or a particular book, you'd probably have no knowledge of the body of a dark-haired schoolboy sprawled in a far corner of the stacks, a pile of books still next to him.

((Anything need tweaking? I'll do it.))

((Again, sorry for exceeding lateness! >.<))

Fakir was waiting by the lake, in the shade of one of the trees. He had brought a heel of bread along, and was throwing small chunks to the wildlife.

He hoped the other boy would be able to come.

Flying. Tutu and Kraehe could float through the air effortlessly, and of course Ahiru could fly as a duck. As a mere human who tried to be a knight, he could not. But...he had always envied the birds their flight. Even if he would only fly this one afternoon, he wanted to try it.

I found the pendant. It was near that ruined brick house. Should I come to the lake?

Many people seem to be interested in these things.

You are The Hermit

Prudence, Caution, Deliberation.

The Hermit points to all things hidden, such as knowledge and inspiration, hidden enemies. The illumination is from within, and retirement from participation in current events.

The Hermit is a card of introspection, analysis and, well, virginity. You do not desire to socialize; the card indicates, instead, a desire for peace and solitude. You prefer to take the time to think, organize, ruminate, take stock. There may be feelings of frustration and discontent but these feelings eventually lead to enlightenment, illumination, clarity.

The Hermit represents a wise, inspirational person, friend, teacher, therapist. This a person who can shine a light on things that were previously mysterious and confusing.

Fakir walked up to the boy's dormitory, determined not to let his hesitancy into his movements. He carried a book and a small picnic basket.

He came around the entrance arch of roses. "Mytho?"

A journal, huh. I've never had a journal, not even before...not that it would really have been a journal then.

This should be useful, recording events and thoughts. Commentary on what's happened is safe, and I should have started keeping notes on events ages ago. And there seem to a great number of reference works on this "internet". I'm running low on books.
